There's a reason why the Miami Seaquarium is South Florida's most attended attraction: Kids love it. While the Seaquarium is not as large or glitzy as Sea World in Orlando, kids can get splashed by Lolita the Killer Whale, see a dolphin show, and get up close and personal with endangered manatees. Because it's not as large as Sea World, parents and kids won't be as exhausted at the end of the day because there's less ground to cover. There are plenty of refreshment stands along the exhibit trail, as well as a restaurant.

Younger children will get a kick out of feeding the sea lions, while teenagers will enjoy watching divers feed large sharks and reef fish. And who wouldn't enjoy the chance to swim with the dolphins - Miami Seaquarium offers an interactive program sure to please all ages. Other marine life at the Seaquarium includes: seals, sea turtles, tropical fish, flamingos, an American crocodile, and a variety of marine and exotic birds. You can easily spend an entire afternoon checking out the Lost Island Wildlife Habitat, Faces of the Rain Forest, Life on the Edge touch pool, endangered manatee colony, exotic birds and various themed aquariums.
