Emma Watson at JFK, stopped for looking too young to fly alone, report says
Apparently not all of us are are obsessed with celebrity culture.
According the the New York Daily News, "Harry Potter" actress Emma Watson was stopped at JFK airport by customs officials for being too young to fly alone.
On Dec. 22, Watson tweeted two messages:
Passport control: 'Unaccompanied minor?' Me: ''Sorry?' Passport control: 'Where is ur guardian?' Me: 'I'm 22!!!!!!!'
The really sad thing is that this is not the first time this has happened.
Rules for minors traveling by themselves vary from airline to airline. US Airways, for instance, allows ages 5 to 14 to fly solo on nonstop flights, but there is a $100 fee (each way) for assistance.
We say: No need for all those exclamation marks, Ms. Watson. No need for offense. As a Lancôme spokesmodel, your fresh face should translate to a long career.
