Keep your money in your wallet. There's a lot of free fun to be had in the city this weekend and beyond.  Here are my upcoming favorites.

Music

I never thought I'd see the day where I'd hear "free" and "Beyonce" in the same sentence. But, indeed, there is in fact a free Beyonce concert on the radar. OK, there's a catch: You'll have to get up early for this one. The diva will take to the Central Park SummerStage from 7 to 9 a.m. July 1 at Fifth Avenue for a "Good Morning America" segment. I know I'm getting greedy here -- but who knows -- maybe we'll get twice the bang for our nonbuck and Jay-Z will make a surprise appearance. Details: 212-360-2777

New 'do

We're all gonna need some hair help today; I know I'm a frizzball in this humidity. If you're heading west Friday afternoon, go straight to Sephora in Times Square (200 W. 42nd St.) for some bed-hair-day help. Stylists from the famed, high-end hair salon Bumble and Bumble will be on hand from 1-7 p.m. for free one-one-one styling sessions. Details: 212-764-2525

Ice Cream!

The Ben and Jerry's Scoop Truck is making its way up and down the East Coast, doling out free ice cream all summer. Saturday, it will be at the Friars Club Improv + Sketch Competition, and Sunday at NYC Pride brought to you by Heritage of Pride. For a daily update on its location, follow the Scoop Truck on Twitter @BenJerrysTruck or visit benjerry.com/flavors/feature/2011-truck-tour/ and ask the truck to come to you on Twitter by tagging #OMGfreeBenAndJerrys. Sweet.
