Travel site Jetsetter.com launched Jetsetter Now Wednesday, with deals on same-day bookings featuring savings up to 60 percent off.

Via a free app available for the iPhone and iPad, members will receive the daily deals at noon, whatever their time zone, the company announced in a release. Jetsetter membership is free.

For now offers are in seven cities -- New York, Las Vegas, Los Angeles, San Francisco, Miami, Boston and Chicago -- with categories including classic, hip, contemporary and luxe. Users won't know the name of the hotel until they've booked, though all are Jetsetter-approved, with part of that process including an 85 percent or better rating from members who have stayed there. Jetsetter also has more than 200 travel writers it pulls from to verify hotels.

For checkout ease, you simply take a photo of your credit card. Other app features include Passbook integration, meaning it's compatible with Apple's new iOS 6 feature for organizing tickets, gift cards and the like, and notifications for local deals.

Jetsetter, which was founded in 2009 and has 2.2 million members, according to its communications department, is known largely for its flash sales, though it lists more than 1,000 hotels and resorts at full-price as well.
