Travel site Jetsetter.com launched Jetsetter Now Wednesday, with deals on same-day bookings featuring savings up to 60 percent off.

Via a free app available for the iPhone and iPad, members will receive the daily deals at noon, whatever their time zone, the company announced in a release. Jetsetter membership is free.

Just because “Rock of Ages” the movie is tanking -- The AP said it only pulled in $14.4 million in its first weekend, and Warner Bros. is putting production costs at $65 million -- doesn't indicate anything about the lure of rock stardom.
