Green Turtle Cay travel tips

GETTING THERE. Treasure Cay International Airport is a five-minute taxi ride from the ferry that takes visitors to Green Turtle Cay. However, flights into Marsh Harbour International Airport (25 minutes from the dock) are more convenient (one connection) and tend to be less expensive. Round-trip airfares from LaGuardia to Marsh Harbour in mid-February start at about $315, excluding taxes and fees. Both Delta and American offer single-connection flights between LaGuardia and Marsh Harbour.

The 20-minute ferry ride to the island is $11.

WHERE TO STAY. We stayed at the 40-room Green Turtle Club, getting around on a golf cart, and scarfing down conch fritters for dinner, washed down with the hotel's signature Tipsy Turtle rum punch.
