Long Islanders curious about visiting Cuba can now do so with the Science Museum of Long Island in Plandome.
The museum, in conjunction with Cuba Educational Travel, is leading a trip to the island Feb. 14-21, 2016. The trip, with a focus on science and culture, includes the cities of Havana, Cinefuegos and Pinar del Rio, with stops at a botanical garden, karst valley, fish cave and organic farm, along with a walking tour of Havana's Old City, music and dance performances and a visit to Ernest Hemingway's house.
