Make no mistake about it, Sugarloaf is a very big mountain that offers a big mountain skiing experience (some say the biggest in the East), including the only lift-serviced, above-tree-line skiing in the East at an efficient and constantly upgrading, full-amenity resort complex. There is more than enough here to keep even the best skiers challenged and engaged for a full week, though many find the time it takes to get here and the not infrequent frigid temperatures and strong winds to be deal breakers. Come to stay, but come prepared.

Sugarloaf Mountain Hotel, deluxe, full-amenity 120-room and suites facility at the base of the mountain, and the Sugarloaf Inn, a 42-room more traditional inn with rooms that sleep 2 to 4 people. Six separate condo villages, ranging from studios to five-bedroom units.
