Hunter Mountain ski report and snow conditions

Hunter has long been known as the mountain that has everything – terrain for every skier ability, numerous food and lodging choices and weather that can be as unpredictable as any in the Northeast, from sunny, packed-powder days to icy conditions with biting winds. It's a giant mountain, with plenty of activities, lifts and trails to keep every one busy all day.

The folks who run the place haven't been complacent about Hunter's status as the No. 1 area in southern New York. They did trail maintenance all summer, have solidified their venture with Aspen-Snowmass, providing discounts at the Colorado resort for Hunter skiers, and added the 2007-08 Season Pass with a charging ability that will make purchases at various Hunter venues more efficient.

The Pinnacle, the high-end condominium village located atop the Hunter Mountain Base Lodge, is almost completed, promising great views for guests at the mountain.
