• Windham ski report and snow conditions
Windham has been operating for 47 years, and after last season's change of ownership and expenditures of more than $5 million on trail maintenance, building infrastructure and new amenities, the ski area has never looked so good. The ski bowl between Wraparound and Wicked has great new terrain, and the G Lift triple chair has been replaced with a high-speed, detachable quad, known as the East Peak Express Quad. Ice skating has been added to the Mountain Top Adventure Park, for only $5 a session (plus $5 skate rental).
A rock-climbing wall and a bungee trampoline are also new this year. Windham will continue to attract visitors who are looking for great ski conditions at reasonable rates without the crowded slopes and longer lift lines of Vermont resorts. Its close proximity to Hunter Mountain means that nearby accommodations can become heavily booked on weekends and holidays, so plan early.
