Maintaining proper hydration is important for your health, and also for an enjoyable vacation. Here are some tips:

COCONUTS In some regions, green coconuts are available for sale along with soft drinks and bottled water. They do agreat job hydrating you.

MOISTURE Certain produce -- watermelon, celery, broccoli, blueberries, lettuce -- have high water content, making them the perfect snack and meal items for travelers trying to stay hydrated while they beat the summer heat.

BOTTLES Collapsible water bottles are great for frequent fliers. The containers store flat, and can be filled up at water fountains near the departure gate, making the thirst that comes while waiting for your flight's first beverage service a thing of the past.
