Travelers leaving from Westchester County Airport may soon be able to opt into a program that would pre-screen them before their flights.
Westchester County Airport is considering adding a Registered Traveler program that would allow frequent fliers to bypass long airport lines. For a fee, applicants would have to provide personal information to the Transportation Security Administration and pass a background check. The applicants would then be able to use a separate check point.
The TSA said all passengers will still be subject to random security checks.
