Turkish Cultural Center shares coffee and customs in Harrison

Sakir Keskin, of Elmsford, executive director of the Turkish Cultural Center of New York's Westchester branch, said Friday's "Turkish Coffee: The Taste of Friendship" presentation at the Harrison Public Library was held to promote Turkish culture, and share it with Westchester residents. A group of volunteers from the organization gave a step-by-step demonstration on how to prepare Turkish coffee, and shared history and stories highlighting the importance of coffee in Turkish culture.
