Behind the curtain: 'Ghost' inspires 'Ditto Cupcake,' more
'Ghost' musical inspires Magnolia cupcake
"Ghost" might not be a very good musical, but it inspired a tasty cupcake. The "Ditto Cupcake," named after the lead character's famous catchphrase, can be purchased at the Magnolia Bakery at Rockefeller Plaza for $3.50, significantly less than the cost of a ticket to see the show. Past cupcakes inspired by Broadway have included Magnolia's "Priscilla Cupcake" and Crumbs' "Sister Act Cupcake." Perhaps it's time I gave up theater and reviewed cupcakes instead.
