Thanksgiving's over and now it's time to get ready for the holiday season! And what better way to get in the holiday spirit than the lighting of the Rockefeller Center Christmas tree?! Stop by Rockefeller Plaza this Wednesday for an evening of performances and to see the massive tree from Jersey all lit up with a Swarovski star at its top. If you can't make it out on Wednesday, the tree will be up until Jan. 7. What could fish and shark sculptures have in common with Pucci? Artist Kevin McHugh, that's what. McHugh, known for his fish and shark sculptures, will unveil his new exhibition of Pucci-inspired works at The Out NYC this weekend. There's not much out there that says Christmas quite like gingerbread houses. Venture by Le Parker Meridien's annual holiday display to gaze mouthwateringly at the over-the-top gingerbread masterpieces from various NYC bakeries and restaurants, depicting "Landmarks Around the World." The display will be on exhibit in the atrium of the hotel starting this Saturday through Jan. 3.
