'To Kill a Mockingbird' screening
Though a mention of Harper Lee's "To Kill a Mockingbird" may bring back memories of those school days, just remember: No book reports required here! Just sit back and take in the classic novel turned film starring Gregory Peck at this FREE screening, part of the 13th season of Brooklyn Bridge Park's Syfy Movies With A View film series. DJ $mall Change will kick off the evening at 6 tonight, followed by short film "Eye on the Stars" by Rauch Brothers and then the main event at sunset. 'The Rover'
Red Rover, Red Rover, you should come on over to see "The Rover," an Aphra Behn play put on by the Hudson Warehouse theater company, who call themselves the "other free Shakespeare in the Park." The company is celebrating its ninth season, with this year's shows again taking place in Riverside Park every Thursday through Sunday night until early September. "The Rover," which opens tonight, plays through Aug. 5.
