We chatted with Lubov Azria to get the inside scoop on the collections and all things Fashion Week.

What's your Fashion Week motto?
Prepare for the worst, hope for the best.

How would you describe your collections in one word?
For BCBGMaxAzria, "Ankara." For Hervé Léger by Max Azria, "Enchanted."

What types of pieces will we see?
For BCBGMaxAzria, easy shift dresses and tunics are layered with sporty pants, sweaters and oversized jackets for a decided emphasis on sportswear. For Hervé Léger by Max Azria, we are highlighting rock 'n' roll elements moving into organic-inspired shapes and details.

In general, where do you find inspiration?
I am most inspired by the people that I work with on a daily basis. Inspiration comes from something that moves inside you to make it your own. I am also inspired by art ... [which] inspires me to think outside the box and play with different elements to create new and innovative designs.

What's the first thing you'll do once Fashion Week is over?
First celebrate at our Fashion Week after-party at The Boom Boom Room [at] The Standard. Then straight to the Korean spa.

If you go: BCBG showing Feb. 7 at Lincoln Center; Hervé Léger showing Feb. 9 at Lincoln Center
