Hip hop manager Chris Lighty found dead in apparent suicide
High-powered hip-hop manager Chris Lighty was found dead Thursday morning at his Bronx home from an apparent self-inflicted gunshot wound to the head, according to the NYPD.
Lighty, 44, who managed stars 50 Cent, Diddy, Mariah Carey and LL Cool J, was found outside his South Riverdale home, police said, after an argument with his wife, who filed for divorce last year, according to the Daily News. Police said the death is being probed as a suicide.
Lighty founded the powerful management company Primary Violator, whose rep didn't return a request for comment.
