Injured man crashes into 4 cars, killing self and teen pedestrian
Police are trying to determine why a Brooklyn man was stabbed before he crashed his car Saturday night, killing himself and a 13-year-old pedestrian.
Sean Lewis, 44, was frantically trying to get help after he was stabbed in the torso, driving his Range Rover down Pacific Street in Ocean Hill. Lewis slammed into three parked cars and then backed up, hitting another parked car and flipping over his SUV, which landed on Kirra Goddard, 13, pinning her underneath and killing her, police said.
"It was too late for her to get up and move, and it just hit her," Kirra's half-sister, Tanisha Harewood, told the Daily News.
Lewis was rushed to Brookdale Hospital with head injuries, according to police. That was where doctors realized he had been stabbed before the car wreck.
Police said the medical examiner would determine what killed Lewis.
