J and Z train service is set to return to the Fulton Street and Broad Street stations at 6 a.m. Tuesday morning after the stations were closed due to damage from Superstorm Sandy.

The trains had been stopping at Chambers Street while MTA crews worked to repair the damage to signal wires in the stations.

The two stations are among the last areas of the subway system to restore service after Sandy.

Earlier this week, the R train returned to lower Manhattan, extending from Queens to Whitehall Street. It still does not run between Brooklyn and Manhattan.
