Mayor Ed Koch expects to remain at New York-Presbyterian Columbia University Medical Center for at least a week, according to his spokesman, George Arzt.

"He told me, 'I'm better. I'm not good -- but I'm better,'" Arzt said Tuesday.

Koch praised the upcoming movie "Koch," about his life and political career in NYC, that premiered last night at a Museum of Modern Art event which he was unable to attend. "He was pleased by the good reviews," Arzt said.

Koch, 88, was driven to the hospital Monday evening after fluids pressing on his lungs made breathing difficult. His latest hospitalization came only two days after his Saturday release and is his fourth hospitalization in five months.
