Michelle Williams clueless about Jason Segel before dating

Michelle Williams didn't know all that much about boyfriend Jason Segel before they started dating last spring - actually, she pretty much knew nothing about the funny guy.

"I didn't actually realize who he was before I started dating him," the Oscar nominated actress said in the March issue of InStyle magazine. "I mean, I saw the 'Muppets' movie, and I thought, 'Oh, that's cute,' but the truth is I didn't realize he made a lot of very popular, funny movies or was on a TV show ["How I Met Your Mother"]."

Another thing the "Oz The Great and Powerful" star didn't realize? How tall Segel is - at 6 feet, 4 inches he towers by a foot over Williams, who stands at 5 feet, 4 inches.

"I thought, 'Hey, man, you're cramping my style!'" she said. " I tried wearing wedge heels for a while to compensate, but it wasn't me and I just gave up."
