$2 million in drugs seized in Queens

Nearly 20 pounds of meth and heroin worth more than $2 million were recovered in a bust that netted three accused drug traffickers, prosecutors said Monday.

Most of the drugs were recovered in a Corona, Queens, stash house April 9 after investigators observed the trio allegedly making a drug deal in the Bronx.

UPDATED 8:27 p.m.: A huge tornado with winds of up to 200 miles per hour devastated the Oklahoma City suburb of Moore on Monday, ripping up at least two elementary schools and a hospital and leaving a wake of tangled wreckage.
