Columbia lineman charged with assault in alleged race attack

A Columbia University football player was charged Wednesday for allegedly assaulting a fellow student while using racial slurs.
Chad Washington, 19, allegedly assaulted an Asian student outside a Columbia building on West 113th Street.
Washington, who is black, allegedly grabbed the victim by his collar and pushing up against the wall.

A new quarterly report by Citi Habitats shows that the Manhattan rental market in the first quarter of the year remained largely stable, with a 1.46% vacancy rate this March, as opposed to a 1.25% vacancy rate one year ago. Quarterly figures closely resembled monthly stats.
