Surveillance video of a man in a beige baseball cap could help police as they try to find the man responsible for Monday's bank robbery in Yorktown Heights.
About 5 p.m., a man approached a teller at the TD Bank on Lee Boulevard, handed over a note saying he had a gun and demanded cash, Yorktown police said.
The man, described as thin, white and in his 30s, was wearing dark pants and a dark Nautica jacket. He was not wearing a mask.
No one was harmed in the robbery, and the suspect never flashed a weapon. Police said he fled with an undetermined amount of cash.
There was at least one customer inside the bank at the time of the heist.
Yorktown police say the suspect left the bank on foot, heading eastbound on Bank Road. K-9 units and a Westchester County bloodhound have been searching for him.
