Wallkill dog owner arrested again
Sylvia Panneta allegedly violated an order to stay away from her makeshift kennel
An Orange County dog breeder is out on bail after being arrested Friday for breaking a court order to stay away from her makeshift kennel.
A court order was put in place to keep Sylvia Panetta from bothering or interfering with animal rescuers who were on her property caring for her neglected dogs, police said.
Panetta is already facing animal cruelty charges for keeping more than 70 dogs in deplorable conditions at her home in Wallkill. All the dogs have officially been taken away from her.
Panetta is due back in court on June 12.
