THE BRONX - It may almost be September, but it's hazy, hot and humid out there!

A late summer swelter has set in around the city after months of mild temperatures.

The temperature approached 90 degrees Wednesday for the third day in a row.

The borough has not seen a heat wave this season, as it has in recent summers.
