Westport All-Stars' Little League World Series run ends with 12-1 loss to California

The comeback kids fought back to win against Washington, 14-13 in extra innings.

SOUTH WILLIAMSPORT - Their glorious season-long winning spree ended abruptly Sunday, but the Westport All-Stars still have much to be proud of.

After going nearly undefeated all season, the Little League team was defeated by Chula Vista, Calif. 12-1 today in the U.S. title game of the Little League world series.

California will go on to play Japan tomorrow in the World Series championship game. Japan is making its sixth appearance in eight years at the championships.
