Ho! Ho! Ho! Santa Claus landed his sleigh on Long Island and is ready to meet and greet kids, hear their wish lists and find out if they've been naughty or nice. Old St. Nick will be making appearances all over L.I. throughout the holiday season. Here, a guide to some of the many places to see Santa -- so pack up your family and head out for a fun-filled, festive day!

    Visit Santa at Atlantic Nursery in Freeport on

    Atlantic Nursery Florists, Shopping 250 Atlantic Ave. Freeport Santa arrives on Dec. 15-16 and Dec. 22-23 from 12-4 p.m.. Dec. 1-2 from 12-4 p.m. bring your pets for their annual photo with Santa and participate in a benefit for Bobbi and the Strays animal shelter. Bring your camera for pictures or snap a shot in one of their displays; no fees.

    Bayville Adventure Park turns into Bayville Winter Wonderland

    Bayville Adventure Park Miniature Golf, Amusement center, Kids, Miniature Golf 8 Bayville Ave. Bayville Bayville Adventure Park is transformed into the Winter Wonderland Holiday Park Nov. 23-Jan. 6, 6-10 p.m. Fridays; noon-10 p.m. Saturdays and Sundays, 6 p.m.-9 p.m. select Wed. and Thurs. Visitors can enjoy attractions like Santa's Toy Factory Funhouse and Maze, a holiday light show, an express train ride, ice skating and a meeting with Santa. Check website for photo charge.

    Kids can visit Santa at the Broadway Mall

    Broadway Mall Shopping Route 106/107 Hicksville Check out Santa at the Broadway Mall in the IKEA wing daily from Nov. 17 until Dec. 24, Mon.-Sat. 10 a.m.-1 p.m., 2-5 p.m. and 6-9 p.m.; and Sun. 10 a.m.-2 p.m. and 3-7 p.m. On Christmas Eve, Santa will be leaving at 5 p.m. Also, every Tuesday nights (Nov. 27, Dec. 4, 11 and 18) is Paws and Claus Night, when you can take your pets to get pictures with Santa, too!     Dees' Nursery & Florist Florists, Shopping 69 Atlantic Ave. Oceanside The Dees' Pictures With Santa occurs every weekend starting Saturday after Thanksgiving from 11 a.m.- 5 p.m. Sat. and Sun. "Holiday Movie Night" and "Breakfast with Mrs. Claus" will also take place, with more information on their website.

    Green Acres Mall Shopping 2034 Green Acres Mall Valley Stream Santa will be at the Green Acres Mall (Kohl's wing) daily Nov. 17 through Dec. 24, Mon.-Sat., 10 a.m. to 1 p.m., 2-5 p.m. and 6-9 p.m.; Sun., 10 a.m. - 2 p.m. and 3-7 p.m. Santa will leave at 5 p.m. on Dec. 24. Paws and Claus, photos of you, your pet and Santa will be Tuesdays, Nov. 27, Dec. 4, 11 and 18, 6-9 p.m.. Call for photo pricing.

    Santa and his reindeer arrive Nov. 25, 2011

    Hicks Nurseries Florists 100 Jericho Tpke. Westbury Santa and his reindeer will be at Hicks from Nov. 23 to Dec. 23. His hours are 10 a.m.-1 p.m. and 2 p.m.-5 p.m. Bring your own camera. Your kids can also mail their letter to Santa in the North Pole Mailbox and Santa will answer it (must include a self-addressed, stamped envelope), which will take place Nov. 10-Dec. 18. The animated Christmas story "Something Special for Santa" is open for free from Nov. 10-Dec. 24.

    Mall at The Source Shopping 1504 Old Country Rd. Westbury Santa arrives at The Mall at The Source center court Nov. 16 through Christmas Eve. Hours: Fri.-Sat. 10 a.m.-8 p.m., Sun. 11 a.m.-6 p.m., Mon.-Thurs. 11 a.m.-8 p.m. Christmas Eve hours are 9 a.m.-6 p.m. Call for prices on photo packages. Hours may vary; check website for details.

    Santa will be at the Old Westbury Gardens

    Old Westbury Gardens Botanic garden, Performing Arts Center, Music 71 Old Westbury Rd. Old Westbury The Holiday Celebration takes place Dec. 1-2 and Dec. 8-9 and 14-16, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Children can create crafts and say "hello" to Santa after exploring the beautifully decorated house, cookies and hot cider. General admission $8; children ages 3-17 and seniors $5.

    Smith Haven Mall Shopping 313 Smith Haven Mall Lake Grove Visit Old St. Nick daily until Dec. 24 in the center court of the mall. Hours vary depending on the date, but are mostly synchronized with mall hours. Check website for updates. Each child who has a picture taken with Santa will receive a gift from the Smith Haven Mall.
