THE BRONX - Two New York residents are home for the holidays after being wrongfully incarcerated for years.

William Lopez sat behind bars for more than two decades for a murder he did not commit. In 1989, the then 30-year-old was convicted of killing a drug dealer in Brooklyn. He was released in January 2013 at 54.

Lopez thanks Jeff Deskovic and his foundation for justice. Deskovic was also wrongfully incarcerated at 17 years old for 15 years. He helped support and free Lopez.

This year was the first time Deskovic hosted a holiday, a milestone he says he wouldn't want to share with anyone but Lopez.
