Police have not said if they have a suspect or if a weapon was involved in the robbery. The value of the items taken is unclear.

The incident comes just three weeks after a resident was car-jacked in the same parking lot. In that incident, the resident says he was pistol-whipped before the suspect drove off in his car.

Neighbors say they expect better security at a luxury building where a two-bedroom apartment rents for nearly $3,800. Some residents say they will seek out ways to improve security, such as hiring armed guards.

A spokesperson for the building's management says they are aware of the incident and are looking into the matter. The spokesperson added that there are surveillance cameras around the building.
