WP library offers teen Claymation workshop
The White Plains Public Library is hosting a four-part Claymation workshop for teens in honor of Black History Month.
The workshop will begin Feb. 6 from 6 to 7 p.m. in room B of the library, at 100 Martine Ave.
The Claymation workshops will be led and directed by Westchester County artist Susan Ordahl, who will guide participants through the principles of animation as well as the process of building characters out of clay, according to library officials.
The workshop will help participants tell the life story of three famous African-Americans. The finished Claymation projects will be posted on YouTube, officials said.
The rest of the workshop will take place 6-7 p.m. Wednesdays Feb. 13 -27.
