Jayden Piraino scored five goals to lead Half Hollow Hills to a 15-3 victory over Lindenhurst Thursday in Suffolk I girls lacrosse. Eighth-grader Kayla Grochow added three goals and two assists. Layla Greaves made 11 saves for Half Hollow Hills (7-9).

Commack 11, Sachem North 8: Lili Pettit scored three goals

for Commack (14-2) in a Suffolk I win. Lisa Hefferman scored three goals for Sachem North (7-9).

WEDNESDAY’S GAMES

Herricks 14, Elmont 11: Kaylie Cho had seven goals and two assists to lead Herricks (10-3) to a Nassau IV win. Ava Stanza had five goals and one assist and Sophia Sukrhaj made 15 saves. Ivie Ihaza had four goals for Elmont (5-8).

Carey 12, Wheatley 5: Alina LaRosa had six goals and an assist to lead Carey (10-3) in Nassau IV. Leila Paz added four goals and an assist and Kaylin De Jesus made nine saves. Maeve Dearborn had two goals and an assist for Wheatley (7-5-1).

Northport 7, Half Hollow Hills 3: Logan Cash and Luke Loiacano each scored two goals to lead Northport (13-2) in Suffolk I. Dylan Baumgarth won 10 of 14 faceoffs. Quinn Napolitano made nine saves, including multiple on the doorstep. Sal Santoro made 17 saves for Half Hollow Hills (15-1).

South Fork 14, Commack 13: Luca Lattanzio scored the winning goal with 1:28 left to lead South Fork (10-6) in Suffolk I. Charlie Corwin had three goals and two assists. Vincent Pititto had four goals and two assists for Commack (8-8).

Island Trees 12, North Shore 9: JC Echezuria had seven goals and an assist to lead Island Trees (11-5) in Nassau C/D. Kian McCoy and Joe Filocamo each had a goal and three assists. Matt D’Aversa had three goals and an assist for North Shore (10-5).

North Babylon 10, Copiague 1: Tim Camier fired a six-hitter with five strikeouts for North Babylon (11-9) in Suffolk III. Justin Demeng had three hits and two RBIs.

Mineola 1, Valley Stream South 0: Andrew Basel struck out nine in a two-hitter to lead Mineola (7-11-2) in Nassau A-I. Luigi Sartori made a game-saving over-the-shoulder catch to end the game. Nick Lang struck out 11 in a three-hitter for Valley Stream North (7-12).

Bridgehampton 7, Amityville 5: Kai Alversa allowed no earned runs and struck out 10 to lead Bridgehampton (8-7) in Suffolk VIII.

Floyd 8, Brentwood 1: Angelo Velez had two hits and three RBIs to lead Floyd (14-5) in Suffolk I. Ryan Pletman and AJ Cannet each had two RBIs. Jake Sambriski allowed four hits and struck out eight
