A four-bedroom, two-bath Cape with an updated kitchen in Uniondale is on the market for $630,000 with annual taxes of $9,748.

The house, on Spring Avenue, has 1,750 square feet of living space, with a galley kitchen that has stainless steel appliances and granite counters, a breakfast nook, dining room, living room, den with a wood-burning fireplace and separate entrance, and a full finished basement with two rooms.

The floor plan flows easily, which “makes it feel really cozy,” said listing agent Kionne Williams of Laffey Real Estate. “It is a nice, warm house — you can feel it.”

Built in 1950 on a 0.16-acre lot, the home got a new roof last year, Williams said, adding that after owning it for more than 30 years, the sellers are retiring to move out of state. “For a house that’s been lived in, it definitely is well kept,” she said.

The house has hardwood floors, an attached one-car garage, and sliding doors off the kitchen that lead to the backyard, which has a shed and concrete patio.

“What’s really sweet about the house is that it looks so much smaller, but when you go inside, it’s much larger,” Williams said. “It opens up, and it’s unexpected.”

The solar panels are owned rather than leased, so the buyers will pay only for electrical usage, Williams said.

Zoned for the Uniondale Union Free School District, the home is a short drive to highways, shopping and restaurants.
