An East Meadow man who allegedly spray-painted the letters "KKK" on the wall of a local urgent care clinic has been arrested and charged with a felony hate crime, Nassau County police said Saturday.

Carlos Aguilar, 25, of First Street, allegedly spray-painted the letters, as well as other non-biased graffiti, on a side wall of Urgent Care at 2310 Hempstead Tpke. at 8:30 p.m. May 20, police said.

He was arrested Friday and charged with criminal mischief in the fourth degree/hate crime, a felony, as well as making graffiti, a misdemeanor, police said. He was released and issued a desk appearance ticket, police said.

It wasn't immediately clear if Aguilar was represented by an attorney.
