Kwaisi McCorvey was driving a 2001 Chevrolet Tahoe north on Mount Avenue and was attempting to make a left turn at about 1:30 p.m. when he hit Casseus Clesca, 74, of Wyandanch, who was crossing Lake Drive, according to police.

Clesca was rushed to Good Samaritan Hospital Medical Center in West Islip with serious injuries, police said.
