Construction continues on the National September 11 Memorial

The 8-acre commemorative plaza will be dedicated in a 10th-anniversary ceremony to be attended by President Barack Obama, former President George W. Bush and family members of 9/11 victims. It opens to public ticket holders on Sept. 12.
