Bridge Lane Tasting Room

Where: 35 Cox Neck Rd., Mattituck Hours: Noon-7 p.m. Wed.-Mon., closed Tues. through Nov. 1; noon-7 p.m. Fri.-Mon., closed Tues.-Thur. Nov. 1-Memorial Day; closed Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Year’s Day. Specialty: Rumor Mill Hard Cider. Tastings: $15-$18. More info: No tours. Picnic area, outside food and leashed pets allowed. Woodside Orchards (Aquebogue)

Where: 729 Main Rd. (Route 25), Aquebogue Hours: 10 a.m.-5:30 p.m. daily, closed Wed. (except holidays). Specialty: Flavors include traditional, traditional sweet, raspberry and cinnamon, plus special seasonal varieties. This well-known orchard is family-owned and operated and started producing hard cider in 2013. Tastings: $6 a tasting; $7 pint, $12 for 32-ounce growler, $18 for 64-ounce growler. Lieb Cellars Tasting Room

Where: 13050 Oregon Rd., Cutchogue Hours: Noon-7 p.m. daily, year-round, closed Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Year’s Day. Specialty: Rumor Mill Hard Cider Tastings: $16-$20 More info: Live music select weekends, check website. Rustic feel on one of the North Fork’s most rural roads. Patio seating is available. Where: 139 Sagg Rd., Sagaponack Hours: 11 a.m.-8 p.m. Sun.-Thur., 11 a.m.-10 p.m. Fri.-Sat. Memorial Day weekend through Oct.; 11 a.m.-6 p.m. Sun.-Thur., 11 a.m.-8 p.m. Fri.-Sat. Nov.-May. Specialty: Besides wines, Wölffer Estate Vineyard has been making hard cider since 2012. It makes a white and a rosé (includes a red grape skin extract) hard cider. Tastings: $15-$25 a person.
