SECOND: Brooklyn Gerty drops to lifetime low after failing as the favorite last time; now or never. Salt Pond was a front-end second in last; dangerous. Miss Kapinator was compromised by wide trip in last; must consider.

THIRD: No Deal made solid rally when a clear-cut second in last; more to come. Currency Chaos regressed in last after clear-cut placing in prior; very dangerous. Anne Dupree is speedy and drops; worth long look.

FOURTH: Herecomesyourman tallied swift late-pace figure when a hard-charging third in last; 5-furlong bullet last week seals the deal. Prognostication has won two in a row for Chad Brown; could easily take another. Shortlist bested top selection by a half-length when second on Aug. 2; right in the thick of this.

FIFTH: Midnitesalright is fresh and projects as the main speed with aggressive ride. Chillinwithfriends has worked three times since third when favored in debut; big-time threat. More Mischief burned the chalk players when fourth at 70 cents on the dollar in debut; willing to take short price once again?

SIXTH: Animauxselle logged career-best numbers on turf; return to preferred footing is the key. Shrink is speedy and could prove very tough on an unchallenged lead. Sensible Myth gets class relief and owns competitive figures on "A" efforts; must consider.

SEVENTH: She's Delightful gets favorable cutback in distance and should be nearing peak in fourth start since five-month layoff. Starlite Mission was a tough-trip third in same last race as top selection; very playable. Fair Regis owns four wins, three seconds and a third from last eight starts; logical contender. My Roxy Girl is another that consistently hits the board; must consider.

EIGHTH: Samadi Sky returns to preferred surface and gets suitably longer trip; breakthrough predicted. Aveenu Malcainu is fleet-footed and training swiftly; big-time player. Sudden Surprise also owns speed and fast figures; right in the thick of this.

NINTH: Somelikeithotbrown logged hot final fraction when an eight-length winner in first start on grass; pairs up victories. Yes and Yes exits sprints and should be favorably positioned near the front; price will be tempting. Swamp Rat owns a running style that could be aided by Wednesday's longer trip.

10TH: Perfect Joke  notched swift late-pace figure in dirt debut; move to grass could play to strength. Santo Antonio compiled six tightly grouped works for first start since June; front-running danger. Milardo was a late-running fourth on all-weather surface at Arlington Park and is from a dam that has produced two turf winners; very interesting. Jimmy Jazz also is training sharply and makes first start since gelded; worth long look. Local Counsel moves to turf after clear-cut placing in last; must be factored into the mix. Whiskey Run owns sprinter's speed and can prove very tough on a soft lead.
