Kailyn Hart scored seven goals for host Stony Brook in their 17-4 women’s lacrosse win over Delaware on Saturday. It was coach Joe Spallina’s 200th win at the school.

Charlotte Verhulst had three goals and two assists, Alex Finn had five assists and Ellie Masera had three goals and one assist for Stony Brook (10-2).

Adelphi 19, Mercy 3: Ashley Kolomechuk had four goals and two assists to lead host Adelphi (9-1). Danielle Marino and Kelly-Anne McGrath each had three goals and one assist and Kerrin Heuser had three goals.

MEN’S LACROSSE

Towson 15, Hofstra 11: John Madsen had four goals and one assist, notching his sixth hat trick of the year, for visiting Hofstra (4-7). Griffin Turner had two goals and four assists, Justin Sykes had two goals and an assist and Sean Henderson made 11 saves.

Stony Brook 13, Drexel 8: Dylan Pallonetti had five goals and one assist to lead host Stony Brook (4-7). Jack Dougherty scored four goals and Nick Dupuis added one goal and four assists.

BASEBALL

Hofstra 5, Delaware 4: Santino Rosso hit a walk-off single to rightfield in the 11th inning to lead host Hofstra. Ryan McLaughlin earned the win, allowing one hit and striking out three in two innings out of the bullpen. Will Kennedy and Penn Sealey each went 2-for-4 with an RBI for Hofstra (11-18).

Stony Brook 9, Elon 1: Matt Brown-Eiring went 4-for-5 with five RBIs and a grand slam to lead host Stony Brook (14-15). Evan Fox went 2-for-4 with two RBIs and Matt Miceli went 2-for-2. Nicholas Rizzo allowed one run in 5  2⁄3 innings

SOFTBALL

Hofstra 4, North Carolina A&T 3: Becca Vaillancourt went 2-for-3 with a solo homer to lead host Hofstra (12-17). Julia Apsel threw a 10-strikeout complete game, allowing five hits and three walks. Chelsea Manto went 1-for-3 with two RBIs.

Stony Brook 4, Monmouth 3: Catherine Anne Kupinski went 1-for-4 with two RBIs for visiting Stony Brook (17-13). Alicia Orosco, Kyra McFarland and Naiah Ackerman each had two hits. Mia Haynes tossed a complete game with five strikeouts and two walks.

St. John’s 5, UConn 1: Ana Serafinko went 2-for-4 with a pair of doubles and three RBIs to lead host St. John’s (21-16). Melanie Santos went 1-for-3 with two RBIs and Loreley Francia struck out six batters in five innings.
