Bitter cold returns to Island, snow may follow

It's freezing outside. And don't expect warmer weather anytime soon.

In fact, forecasters at the National Weather Service say snow is possible Saturday and Sunday with temperatures hovering in the 30s all week.

Temperatures Friday aren't expected to rise above freezing, with a low of 22 degrees.

Slightly warmer temperatures Saturday will be offset by a "chance of snow" according to forecasters, with Sunday high temps expected to near 40.
