Buddy Walk raises money for people with Down syndrome

The Buddy Walk is a fundraiser for people with Down syndrome. This fundraiser takes place every year. The goal is to try to raise money for families who have a child or other relative with Down syndrome. Another goal is to raise money for research to support those with Down syndrome.

The Buddy Walk takes place in a park. Many groups gather to support their loved ones. Teams are formed for each individual that the group is supporting. Each team receives a T-shirt. Many different businesses and sports teams sponsor this event. I participate in this event each year with my whole family.

My brother Liam has Down syndrome, and this is a fun event for us. My brother really likes to go because he has friends that participate, too. The Buddy Walk occurs in many different places. There are many walks that are happening around the United States.
