The American Heart Association announced new board members to its Long Island board of directors.

Cold Spring Harbor resident Michael Porcelain is senior vice president and chief financial officer at Comtech Telecommunications in Melville.

Dr. Scott L. Schubach, Old Brookville resident and chairman, department of thoracic and cardiovascular surgery at Winthrop University Hospital and Southampton resident.

Dr. Frederic Weinbaum is executive vice president, operations and chief medical officer at Southampton Hospital.
