Audiovox Corp. has acquired an average of more than one company per year during the past decade, and, with that fact in mind, the Hauppauge entertainment electronics maker on Monday launched a new website to convey a more expansive, global image.

The company, in effect, wants to do a better job of showing off its brands, including  Klipsch, RCA, Advent, Acoustic Research, Jensen, Omega, Energizer, Terk, Jamo, Mirage, Energy, Mac Audio, Magnat, Heco. The list includes brands bought in the past decade, along with earlier acquisitions.

"The Audiovox website ... has been redesigned to deliver information on the company more effectively and clearly, to all stakeholders – investors, analysts, media, customers, partners and consumers," the company said in a Monday news release.

"In addition to new and innovative technology solutions, the new site offers a thorough overview of the Company's over 45-year history, including detailed information on the acquired companies and brands, enhanced investor relations content and tools, along with policies, community building activities and corporate governance initiatives."

The redesign comes after its most recent acquisitions, of Invision Automotive Systems and Klipsch Group Inc., which, Audiovox said, "further broadened the company's geographic footprint, manufacturing capabilities and global customer base."
