A Melville-based pediatric therapy and education provider says it has good reason to celebrate.
Bilinguals Inc. celebrates 15 years of providing bilingual early intervention health care services to children and families in need," the company said in a news release.
The company says it "had a modest beginning in a small office in Long Island. Two years later, the company expanded its presence to the five boroughs of New York City.”
Bilinguals Inc. was founded by Trudy Font-Padron in 1995, "to meet the needs of developmentally delayed and disabled children and their families, particularly children with bilingual needs."
In Manhattan, the company's staff now takes up the entire 8th floor of a building at 60 Madison Ave.
Its staff includes people from more than 45 countries, and now serves children with autism and autism spectrum disorders.
