A subsidiary of Lake Success-based Canon U.S.A. is running a contest for large-format photocopy and image reproduction businesses, aimed at highlighting green and environmentally sustainable business practices.

The subsidiary, Oce, is now accepting applications for its fourth annual "Green Reprographer of the Year" award. Oce is based in Trumbull, Conn.

Applicants are asked to provide a written description of achievements in green business practices, and should explain how these practices have helped their customers achieve similar goals.

Oce's goal is to encourage "large format printing solutions that are environmentally conscious without sacrificing print quality."

Reprographers can find more information at www.oceusa.com/greenreproaward.
