Canon U.S.A. Inc. has promoted one of its executives, Joseph Warren, to senior vice president and general manager for customer support.
A 20-year employee of the company, Warren will oversee Canon U.S.A.’s support for all its consumer products divisions.
Based in Lake Success, Canon U.S.A. is building a new headquarters in Melville, where it plans to move in early 2013.
Warren’s promotion also includes new responsibilities as chairman and chief executive of Information Technology Services Inc., a company division that includes all its U.S.-based call center operations.
“Joe Warren has been instrumental in guiding the success and recognition that Canon earns year after year for our dedicated customer support,” Joe Adachi, president and chief executive of Canon U.S.A., said.
Under Warren’s leadership Canon customer support has won a PCMag.com Readers’ Choice award, for service and reliability, eight years running, he said.
