Companies, developers and not-for-profit organizations have until 4 p.m. Monday to submit applications for a portion of up to $750 million in grants and tax credits to be awarded by New York State this fall.
Local applicants will compete with those from across the state in a Consolidated Funding Application process administered by Gov. Andrew M. Cuomo's Regional Economic Development Councils and Empire State Development, the state's primary business-aid agency.
The local council received nearly 300 applications last year, and secured $83 million for 98 projects.
