DriMark Products Inc., based in Port Washington, will manufacture promotional products for two North American companies as part of a new distribution alliance, the company announced Thursday.

DriMark has signed exclusive agreements with Beacon Promotions Inc., of New Ulm, Minn. and Dezine Corp. of Mississauga, Ontario.

DriMark, which makes counterfeit detector pens, promotional highlighters and markers, recently dropped plans to move part of its manufacturing to Mexico.

President Cathy Williams Owen, above left, said in a statement, “We are able to deliver a quality product meeting contemporary safety standards that cannot be matched offshore. In addition, our fully automated production system and on-site injection molding capability enable us to complete large or small runs at highly competitive prices with immediate turnaround.”

Here’s Owen in an interview in July.
