LNK International, a manufacturer of private label over-the-counter drugs, has bought a vacant 93,000-square-foot industrial building at 55 Arkay Drive, Hauppauge that it planned to use to expand its manufacturing and warehousing operations.
The deal, for about $8 million was arranged by Richard Cohen, president of Ashlind Properties, a commercial real estate firm in Hauppauge.
The building was owned by Lori-Lynn Realty and had been leased by Corwood Laboratories Inc., a related company that manufactured private-label personal care products and drugs and that closed on October. Cohen had long been involved with LNK and Corwood.
The building sits on 5.1 acres and includes 3,000 square feet of office space and 40,000 square feet of air-conditioned manufacturing space.
